About Paul Davis:
 

Born and raised in Idaho’s Treasure Valley, Paul Davis is a native Idahoan through and through.  After over 40 years and 4 million miles spent logging and hauling heavy equipment, Paul found a new passion, making unique and custom knives.  From his shop in Payette, Idaho, Paul now builds knives from start to finish using quality materials and focused attention.  He uses O1 tool steel and AEB-L stainless steel, quality figured wood, and Hermann Oak Leather.  Each step of the knife-making process is carefully finished, from cutting and hardening the steel to stabilizing and dyeing the woodwork.  Paul even does his own leatherwork and repairs when needed.  His passion has become an art form and a source of pride, as he creates each custom knife with his customer in mind.
